Program Application and Pre-registration<\/p>\n

Candidates can submit their applications between July 17 – September 27, 2017 at the address below. Graduates of 4-year undergraduate departments (with Y\u00d6K equivalency) can apply to the program. For Master’s Degree with Thesis, a minimum score of 55 from ALES in any score type is required. Student admission to the program is determined at the end of the interview. Candidates who will attend the interview must be pre-registered.<\/p>\n

* Candidates who do not have ALES will be able to apply as Special Student. Students admitted to the program with special student status are given a maximum of 1 year to obtain the required ALES score.<\/p>\n

**ALES score is not required for foreign students.<\/p>\n

***All students who want to transfer from the Non-Thesis Program to the Thesis Program must apply to the Graduate School Secretariat with a petition with the ALES certificate attached, if any. Candidates with ALES will be considered first.<\/p>\n

Technical Specifications of the Program<\/p>\n

Sufi Culture and Literature Master’s Program with Thesis consists of a total of four semesters. The maximum time allowed to complete the program is fixed by regulation as 6 semesters.<\/p>\n

The program includes one semester of Scientific Preparation. The Scientific Preparation period is not included in the program duration. Graduates of the Faculty of Theology will be exempt from Scientific Preparation.<\/p>\n

Within the scope of the program, the student will take 5 compulsory courses, 4 elective courses and a seminar and submit his\/her thesis.<\/p>\n

Students can take the exam on one of the three designated dates. Students accepted to the program are announced at the end of each interview.<\/p>\n
