“ACCIDENT”
With the contributions of Javad Soleimanpour, LÜTFİYE BATUM Online Pastel Painting Exhibition
19 JULY 2022 – TUESDAY – 12:00 pm – the online opening will be broadcast live on this page.

Islamic thinkers have described art as a reflection of heavenly truths on earth. Seyyed Hossein Nasr, one of the most influential intellectuals of the Islamic world in the East and the West, says, “Islamic art is not only the earthly crystallization of the spirit of revelation, but also a reflection of heavenly truths on earth, a reflection that, with its help, takes the Muslim on a journey beyond his earthly surroundings to the Divine Glory itself, that is, to Haqq, the beginning and end of this art.”

Our esteemed artist Lütfiye Batum invites us to contemplation with the frames she captured from these AXEEMING truths. Master Javad Soleimanpour says the following about his student: “We have been working together with Ms. Lutfiye for 17 years. The point we have reached from where we started is extremely successful… Ms. Lütfiye’s love of painting is as enthusiastic as the love of people in her! She is hardworking, inquisitive and very meticulous… Because she has these principles, her work is very smooth and accurate… She is one of my students whom I find successful and whom I hope for. I am proud of him.”

Javad Soleimanpour is accompanying Ms. Lutfiye’s 3rd solo exhibition with one of his works in order to contribute to Kerim Foundation scholarships. We would like to thank Seven Art Gallery for their support in the preparation of this work.

Kerim Foundation would like to thank both our esteemed artists Lutfiye Batum and Javad Soleimanpour and all the art lovers who have supported this service.
