Project Description

In order to enable Turkish youth living in Germany to recognize their national, spiritual and cultural values and historical roots on the spot, in their own geography and to contribute to the establishment of belonging relations with their homeland, we are a project partner.
“Journey to the Roots”
 The project was supported by the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities. This project, which will take place between 25 July and 3 August 2018, aims to introduce our young people to their own culture and history in the places they visit, to increase their cultural knowledge, to equip them with the knowledge of their own historical and cultural richness, to encourage them to speak Turkish and to establish lasting friendships for the future.

Within the scope of this project, 28 young people from Germany will visit historical and cultural sites in 4 different cities with young people from Istanbul, who will also participate in the project from Turkey, and conduct seminars and workshops on history, culture, art, literature and civilization.
