Üsküdar University Non-Thesis Sufi Culture and Literature Master’s Program

The Institute of Sufi Studies started a non-thesis master’s program titled “Sufi Culture and Literature” in February 2016 and accepted its first students in the 2015-2016 Spring Semester. The program provides the opportunity to pursue postgraduate education in Sufism and related subjects for those interested in all branches.

Program Application and Pre-registration

Candidates can submit their applications between May 22 – September 27, 2017 at the address below. Graduates of 4-year undergraduate departments (with YÖK equivalency) can apply to the program. ALES score is not required for admission to the program. Admissions to the program are determined after an interview. Candidates who will attend the interview must be pre-registered.

Technical Specifications of the Program:

Sufi Culture and Literature Non-Thesis Master’s Program consists of a total of 3 semesters. The maximum time allowed to complete the program is fixed by regulation as 3 semesters.

Within the scope of the program, the student will submit 7 compulsory courses, 3 elective courses and a term project.

Wednesday, September 27, 2017 Time: 10.00

Students can take the exam on one of the three designated dates. Students accepted to the program are announced at the end of each interview.

*There is the possibility of transition from non-thesis program to thesis program.
